Synodic / RefundsEffective 9 October 2026

Refund and cancellation policy.

Guidance for recurring Synodic memberships and refund requests.

01 / Cancellation

Stop future renewal.

Synodic memberships may be cancelled through the Stripe Customer Portal. Normal cancellation stops future renewal, takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and is not prorated. Paid access normally continues through that period.

02 / Initial-purchase refund requests

Seven days from the initial purchase.

You may request a voluntary full refund within 7 calendar days of the initial subscription purchase. This voluntary seven-day window does not automatically apply to recurring renewals.

03 / Renewals

Requests considered case by case.

Renewal refund requests are considered case by case, subject always to applicable statutory and non-excludable consumer rights.

04 / Access after a full refund

Refunded access ends.

If an approved full refund is successfully completed, the corresponding paid access ends rather than continuing to the original billing-period end. Synodic may cancel the associated subscription as part of completing the approved full refund so it does not renew unexpectedly.

05 / Consumer guarantees

Your statutory rights remain.

This policy does not override Australian Consumer Law or other rights that apply. If a product or service is faulty, materially misdescribed, not supplied as promised, or otherwise covered by mandatory consumer guarantees, statutory remedies remain available.

06 / Contact
